Despite being one of the most respected hospitals in the country, King Edward Memorial Hospital is under scrutiny for its role in infant mortality. The survival rates of the neonatal ward are actually surprisingly good, of up to 90% for premature births. Yet Jack Batton did not survive more than a couple of hours, and his parents want to know if his death could have been avoided.
