The Jeepneys
The Jeepneys is the Filipino version of a taxi/minibus, a public transport system injected with artistic and creative flair.
Legend has it that these incredible buses are built from World War Two surplus jeeps; but reality suggests that they are a strange mix of second hand engines and spare parts imported from Japan. They certainly look like much more fun than the tube.
