Internet War

Internet War A look at how the internet has increased the scope for covering the war.
During the Iraq War, 24 hour news channels weren't the only source of information. In addition to the constant stream of television news, journalists based in Iraq also kept blogs, documenting their experience on the front line for the whole world to read. As well as these serious attempts to document the war, many satirical and downright bizarre websites began to emerge - from irreverent humour sites, to fake blogs masquerading as being written by Saddam Hussein himself.
