Painting Monkeys

Painting Monkeys Meet the apes who paint. They may not have the talents of Van Gogh or Picasso, but their work is exhibited in galleries, and can sell for up to $500 apiece!

Amsterdam Zoo is home to a project studying the creativity of primates, who display the artistic capabilities of two-year old human children. Painting is found to be a healthy diversion for the animals while the naturalists study what their works and the Zoo exhibits and sells them.
