Granite Women

The hardworking women of Dazha are changing

Granite Women We examine how the progress of globalisation is changing the lives of the 'Granite Women' of China.
In a south-eastern Chinese province, a building boom is taking place. Key to these efforts are the 'granite women', who carry the heavy slabs of granite from the surrounding hills to where they are needed. But change is taking place.
