Whispering to the Sick
Medical students in Arizona are turning to horse whispering to learn better bedside manners.
By using horse psychology and practising non-verbal communication like eye contact, the students are convinced they can win the trust of their patients. "It's a wonderful way to teach medical students to become aware of their own body language," explains neurosurgeon Dr Alan Hamilton.
