"I'm always feeling the tension," complains resident Yoon Sun-Duk. "We never let our guard down." In the event of a North Korean invasion, his village would be the first place attacked. But ironically, the biggest threat to the village comes from peace. Currently, residents pay no taxes or rent and homes are subsidised by the South Korean government.
