One Legged Football
It's one of the strangest football teams in the world. All the players have one leg, except the goalies who have one arm. But playing football is a lifeline for members of the amputees football team.
At home, Maxwell is a shy, introverted man, deeply traumatised by his experiences in Sierra Leone's civil war. But on the pitch, he's unrecognisable, moving swiftly with great agility. Abandoned by the state in a refugee camp, he founded a football club for amputees. What the team lacks in facilities, they more than make up in attitude.
