Jack Spills the Beans

Jack Spills the Beans Jack Abramoff, the once all-powerful American lobbyist has been convicted of fraud. It's a case that raises serious questions about the influence of lobbyists on US politics.
Ambramoff used his influence in Washington to get the Tigua Casinos shut down and then offered to make sure they re-opened - but at a price. Arturo Sinclair, Governor of the Tigua Tribe, was given "a list of the key contributions your'e gonna have to make" and told that his casino chain would re-open. Little did he know, Ambramoff had been "a 90% factor in our shutdown." Close links with The White House and the Republican party have already forced House Republican Leader Tom DeLay to step down. Congressman Zach Wamp is one of many in the political arena that now demand "full disclosure, and transparency". Already dubbed "one of the largest scandals in American political history" by campaigner Melanie Sloan, it is possible that this is only the beginning of a complete shake-up on Capitol Hill.
