The tactics used by insurgents to such devastating effect in Iraq have now come to Afghanistan. Shocking propaganda videos reveal how the Taliban and Al Qaeda attract and train recruits.
To the sound of rousing music, jihadis pledge to "take the heads of infidels." Another section of the video shows recruits being trained to make IED. Political scientist Dr Wadir Hafzi, believes the impact of the videos should not be downplayed. "They show that Al Qaeda and the Taliban are alive and well."
