Beit Hanoun

According to the IDF, the shots all came from one canon which erroneously fired into a building because of a computer error. But survivors dispute this. "There were many shells coming from different directions," says one woman angrily. "What they say is a lie." One of the biggest questions is why the Israelis continued firing for 30 mins. The IDF claims soldiers at a nearby observation tower were too busy looking for Qassem rockets to notice anything wrong. But amateur footage shows heavy plumes of smoke and wailing sirens coming from what was clearly a residential area.
