When it comes to obtaining energy from wind, Denmark is pioneering the way. Already 25% of its power comes from wind farms. Now other countries hope to imitate its success.
Wind farms are traditionally regarded as a risky investment. It takes 10 years for each turbine to recoup costs. Farms have to be hugely productive to be financially viable.
