Catalan independence vote reignites left-right divide

Franco's Ghost The dream of Catalonia's independence has been alive since Franco invaded the former autonomous region. This Sunday's vote has reignited long dormant political divides.
"Franco was the historic mistake of Spain. Spain could have made it to the 20th century much earlier", says Gustavo de Aristegui, an MP of the opposition.
