Harbinder and Sarvie are two young Sikh - Australian girls, growing up in a traditional community of Sikh banana farmers in the country town of Woolgoolga. In a community dominated by the Temple committee, there isn't any room for free will. Harbinder has an arranged marriage in India but Sarvie is "ex-communicated from the community because of her
