Kings of the Road
The annual gathering of truckers in Kanazawa is the temple of Bling on wheels. Drivers in love with their trucks show off the machines they spend fortunes adorning.
"We spend more time in our trucks than at home so it's about making a space and exterior that we can enjoy." One owner is so smitten by trucks that he's bought his three-year-old daughter a two tonne van. He dreams to hand down his passion to his daughter. "I'll be sitting in the passenger seat, my daughter will be driving. We'll go to the market and work together. I'll be really happy if that happens."
