This is why I feel betrayed

This is why I feel betrayed As the Syrian conflict enters its third year, the moderate opposition is crumbling. Worn down by fighting both the regime and radical Islamic groups, many have given up and are now fleeing for Turkey.
"In the worst, worst, worst possible outcome, the Syria of the future will be a lot better than when it was at the time of Assad and his regime", said Abu Baseer, founder and commander of the FSA-aligned Al-Izz Adbulsalam Brigade, during an interview in a base in the Turkmen mountains in April 2013. A few months later he was shot dead at the hands of ISIL, the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. The Free Syrian Army (FSA), a more moderate and secular part of the opposition, has been undermined by more radical groups like ISIL. "If you want to do anything, ISIL are standing in the middle", one fighter tells us. Until a few months ago they were ready to sacrifice their lives, now they have given up hope on a future in Syria and instead seek refuge in Turkey, where they are working. "Syria is now finished, I'm not even thinking of living in Syria now".
