Return to Tacloban

Return to Tacloban With family living in Tacloban, for reporter Kathy Novak Typhoon Haiyan was more than just a story. She returns to see how the population are coping with the aftermath, and if they're ready for a new typhoon season.
"We've reached rock bottom; the only way is up", is the stoic approach of Tacloban's battered residents. Yet seven months on from Typhoon Haiyan there is still rubble everywhere and thousands living in tents. Others have rebuilt their flimsy homes in the same vulnerable spots, needing to be close to the fishing industry. "This year's storm season is due any day now. Is Tacloban ready? No."
