Ingesting a Medical Robot

Ingesting a Medical Robot Scientists at MIT have invented a miraculous new robot which can mend internal injuries after being swallowed. It's a great leap forward for surgery - but will patients be able to stomach the cure?
It has long been thought that nanotechnology could make doctors' lives easier, but now a team from MIT have taken a big step towards making this idea a reality. "The challenge with designing an ingestible robot is finding bio-compatible materials" - in this case meat and ice - explains the robot's co-creator, Daniela Rus. Could this bit of tech change the future of medical robotics?
