Thousands of Russians Detained Amid Protests Against Navalny's Arrest

Russia's Opposition Two thirds of Russians identify corruption as the country's number one problem. As Alexei Navalny is imprisoned, people are taking action, with Russians protesting in their thousands.
'[Navalny] is for transparency, and only with transparency can we overpower corruption,' says one Russian man. The now detained Progress Party leader sparked mass protests in 2011 ahead of what he called rigged parliamentary elections. 'The system is so rotten, there's nothing healthy left,' said Navalny, in an impassioned address against Putin. Though his future is uncertain, his imprisonment seems to be the last straw for disillusioned Russians.
