Monsanto's ongoing campaign to dominate the narrative around the controversial pesticide Glyphosate

The Monsanto Papers Roundup is the most widely used herbicide on the planet, but there have been growing concerns that the glyphosate within it is a toxic carcinogen.

“It’s essential”, says farmer Peter Mailler. “We don’t have an alternative to glyphosate in the system at the moment.” Although he believes Roundup is safe to use, there are many that don’t share that view. “We’ve been made junkies by Monsanto”, says her husband Ron, whose wife has developed lymphoma. “It’s just so quick, it’s so easy, and it’s so effective.” Since a jury ruled Monsanto’s product guilty of causing cancer in a landmark court case, the battle over glyphosate’s safety rages on.
