Cruise ship passengers are under strict quarantines after hundreds of Ruby Princess passengers tested positive for coronavirus. Almost 3,000 disembarked the ship in Sydney without any health checks.
After over a week lingering off the coast of Sydney, Ruby Princess passengers were herded off the cruise ship like cattle, under the assurance that none of them had the virus. "I found it very frightening, I thought one lady on the ship had died", says one passenger. Now Australian cruise passengers are being quarantined in hotels on arrival."It's getting pretty harrowing actually hearing the sounds of some of the people begging to be let out", says one Norweigan performer under hotel lockup.
