How Coronavirus Overwhelmed Spain

How Coronavirus Overwhelmed Spain Spain's healthcare system is at breaking point, with key workers feeling the strain. Relatives cannot visit loved ones and hospitals have stopped admitting coronavirus patients over the age of 75.
"When someone dies, we open the windows and wait until someone comes to collect the body. That may take a day or two", says Raquel Rubio, who manages a ward at a Madrid nursing home where staff are working double shifts and lack proper PPE. "After work I get into the car and have to let my frustration run free and cry. But when I come home there are two daughters waiting for me. I have to protect them from it", says another nurse.
