From eight time zones away and almost entirely using social media, Dr. Nana Gegetchkori in New York City and Dr. Zurab Guruli in Jackson, Mississippi became viral sensations in their home country, spreading science-based strategies for treating the emerging disease and remotely consulting on the care of hundreds of their fellow Georgians.
