The decision to overturn Roe V Wade in the US follows years of pressure from pro-life lobbyists. In the US state of Missouri, even before this major ruling, only one abortion clinic remained open.
Just one abortion clinic remains in Missouri - and anti-abortion lobbyists like Sam Lee have been pushing to have even this center closed. 'We're happy that in Missouri we're down to one clinic', says lobbyist Lee. 'Women like me who can't afford the thousand dollar cost [for abortion] have to go over to the state of Illinois', says India, a woman who is having to travel out of state for the procedure.
