One military student remarked, “I want to know more about a possible Taiwan Strait War...I think Ukraine’s situation is very similar to Taiwan’s." Some citizens worry that civilian involvement in defense matters could exacerbate the delicate geopolitical situation in the region, potentially provoking China and straining relations further.
