Iman Paknahad – Director & Producer

Iman Paknahad was born on August 2nd, 1983. He is an Iranian independent journalist, writer and filmmaker and is one of the members of International Federation of Journalists (IFJ). He started to work as a journalist in 2006 and mainly reported on Social and Cultural matters as well as Music and arts and he is now the Editor at one of the well-known magazines in arts and society in Iran.
In 2017, together with his wife, Narges Joudaki, he researched and wrote the script for “Hoopoe’s flight” a feature documentary which has been admired in many national and international festivals. Finally, after years of research and writing, in 2021, Iman and Narges made their first documentary, Bibijan which was hugely praised in Iran and won audiences award in Iranian documentary film Festival.




Narges Judaki – Director & Producer

Narges Judaki is an Iranian independent journalist, writer and filmmaker, she was Born on March 21st, 1975 in Tehran. She started her career as a journalist in 2001, and is a member of International Federation of Journalists (IFJ). Between 2019 and 2020, she was the Chief Editor at Shahrvand Daily Newspaper which would mainly cover social and cultural issues.
Narges and her husband made their first independent documentary named BIBIJAN which is a tragic story about honor-killings taking place in Iran over the past years. Social issues, women and children rights and refugee’s concerns are mainly addressed in Narges’s articles and films.
