Mammoth Hunters
A baby woolly mammoth unravels mysteries that link humanity to these Ice Age giants

In the summer of 2022, a miner struck more than gold in Canada’s Yukon. A fully preserved infant woolly mammoth that died 36,000 years ago, protruded from the Arctic permafrost, her flesh still pink and green grass in her belly. Mammoth Hunters takes us on a journey back through time as we join five mammoth lovers — scientists, artists and citizen detectives — to solve the riddle of these ancient and mysterious animals.
