Nazis Treasure

The hunt for sunken treasure from WWII

Nazis Treasure The treasures of Thessaloniki’s Jews are rumoured to be under the sea a few miles off-shore. Now the first ever search party is about to embark on a mission to find them.
An excited crowd gathers in Finikunta, a small village in the Western Peloponnese. A Greek millionaire is funding a mission to locate valuables sunk during WWII. But the story behind the treasure is a tragic one: the gold bars, jewellery and religious artefacts were seized from the region's Jews by notorious Nazi Max Merten. Almost all the Jews were later betrayed by Merten and killed.
