01 00 17 02 | vo English | Tanja | •Dear Robert •I had a dream of war breaking out again and us being fortunate enough to escape from it all. •When I woke up I talked to mum. •As much as I love my country, my fears are growing -fears of this fragile situation with poor and hungry people being mislead by leaders whose greed seems never to end. •I don’t know if I want to continue to live here. •This is not only fear but feeling a constant insult to my intelligence and to all the values I stand for and were taught to me by my mum. •I can no longer distinguish false tears from real tears, nor understand solidarity and human generosity. •Now I am going to eat spring onions and some bread my mum made, •and then I’ll devote myself to my research about peacemaking… •it’s very challenging but I’ll do it.
