00.00.30.14 – 00.01.08.06    ROLLFor 72 years deep within the Chukotka peninsula in Chaun tundra lives a reindeer breeder Vukvukai. “Little Rock” – that’s’ what his name means in Chukchi language.Along with Vukvukai the reindeer herd is accompanied by his second wife Liubov’ Kelet, his sister Sonya with her husband, his sons: Vladimir, Vitalyi and Alexei with wives and children, and a few herders from other tribes.  All year around Vukvukai and his people take care of reindeer. They call themselves chauchu – “reindeer people”. So, it’s noon in Chaun tundra. -37 ˚C. Squally wind.
