But whilst Governor Wickramatne is excited about the construction of "the cricket museum" and luxury resorts, locals complain, "We've been fishing for 15 years and haven't received anything". A ban issued by government against new building is being ignored by residents "everyone began to build... everyone has done so". As discontent increases about the lack of facilities, the prospect of mass tourism is not welcome by everyone.
