Where Fish Drown The film is a social-environmental fresco of the Danube Delta, UNESCO's world heritage site seen from the perspective of local people that have been filmed and interviewed in a 25-year lapse of time. The Danube Delta is Europe’s largest wetland and reed bed, and functions as its most important water purification system. The film highlights the dramatic situation of the human and environmental tragedy.
