In Taiwan thousands of people are blinded by chemicals every year. Most need corneal transplants, but these are in short supply. So one Taiwanese doctor is growing them instead.
Victim of a vicious acid attack, one Taiwanese man's eyes were badly damaged, leaving him unable to resume his computer work. Now, corneal transplants are giving him a new way forwards. Doctor Chai was developed a new way of growing corneas, giving sight to those who thought they would never see again.
