Nicolas-Alexandre Tremblay – Producer
With a master’s degree in International relations, Nicolas-Alexandre Tremblay completed a documentary filmmaking course at INIS. He is working as a producer, director, cinematographer and editor for television, corporate and interactive content. He also wrote, directed and produced few short films and two feature film which were recognized in local and international festivals.
Not only was Les Coaster (2019) broadcasted on TV5 World and UnisTV but it was well received by both critics and the public. It won the Talent Lab grant during the 2016 Doc Circuits in Montreal (RIDM), it received the Humanist prize at the 2019 Vues sur Mer Film festival and was twice nominated at the 2019 Gemini Awards in the best director and best documentary film categories.
Régis Coussot – Director
Born in France, Régis Coussot completed university degree in communication and journalism. Globe-trotter, he traveled nearly 55 countries before settling in Canada in 2005. Soon, he published articles and photographs for newspapers in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal before making his first documentaries, especially for Productions The route. In 2012, he completed the INIS documentary program in order to perfect his directorial craft. Through his achievements, Régis Coussot seeks to reveal the subjects we usually ignore.
Xavier Dufour-Larouche – Producer
For the past years, Xavier Dufour-Larouche has been making his way up in the world of television production. Passionate about content and business, Xavier holds a bachelor's degree in finance as well as a diploma in television production from INIS. Starting as a production assistant on several sets, he quickly moved up the ranks before joining Toast Média as production director. In 2020, he was promoted to general manager of finance and operations. Xavier has produced several projects across different genres, including: a youth animated series
(Explique-moi ça), documentary films (Les cèdres du Liban, Merci, au revoir, je t’aime), and a documentary series (Histoires à mourir debout). Since 2022, Xavier has continued to produce and oversee operations as the director of operations at Avanti-Toast.
