For some American farmers, what lies beneath their land is more lucrative than what lies above it. They're scouring their land for dinosaur bones and selling the results to the highest bidder.
"They find fossils and go to a broker", claims palaeontologist George Stanley. He believes valuable specimens are being destroyed by the farmer's actions. "Collectors use bulldozers and even dynamite", to get to a specimen. But if scientists get their way, the farmers' new cash crop may soon come to an end. Congress is considering legislation restricting who has the right to collect fossils.
