With just a click minarets and muezzins can be eliminated: 'Moschee Baba' or 'bye bye mosque' has provoked outrage after emerging on the Austrian Freedom Party website. "All the red lines are being crossed here. It is not only inflammatory; it's dangerous..." The Austrian church insists that it wants to free the Islamic population from the ghetto situation of the 'backyard mosques', and yet its terms are unflinching: "mosques built in public spaces must blend with their surroundings".
