Birthday Greetings
Forty years since the war, Vietnam has progressed into a place that is almost unrecognisable. As Hanoi celebrates its 1000th birthday we see that one thing has not changed, the spirit of the people.
Vietnamese fought hard to retain their land, "The people are kind but we are also prepared to fight enemy invaders". As a Western influence affects modern day Hanoi we see four storey buildings upgraded to seventy. Vietnam's violent past and today's rapid development, seem to have had little impact on the beauty and warmth of its people. "The Vietnamese love for life is amazing.
