Day of Death
In Baghdad, even burying the dead has become a death trap. No one dies of natural causes any more. Murder squads hang around cemeteries looking for their next victims.
"Even during the war with Iran we did not lose so many people", laments one woman. "Now we are dying in masses". Morgues and cemeteries are overwhelmed. "Cemeteries are dangerous places now", states one man. Murder squads know that the mourners at a Sunni funeral will also all be Sunnis. They use funerals to identify their next targets .
