Modern technology is often blamed for a wide range of learning problems in today's children. But are modern gadgets themselves at fault, or is it simply the way they are being used that needs to be addressed?
Teacher Meggen calls out, "you want to move on to the iPods?". A chorus of young voices respond: "Yeah!" Meggen runs a thoroughly modern classroom, integrating technology with tradition. According to professor Nick Lux, "it provides a rich learning experience that's more accessible for all the students in a classroom". It may also be the only way for teachers to reach the distracted minds of modern youth.
