The Corpse Factory
Dr Gunther von Hagens' plans to sell slices of corpse; allow people to watch bodies being dissected and plastinate bodies having sex have horrified the neighbours of his new factory.
At von Hagen's Guben Factory, East Germany, visitors can see corpses being prepared for plastination. Gunther has plans to plastinate "a Jesus on the Cross" and open a youth hostel in the museum; "so that school classes can spend the night". But neighbours believe he's going too far. "The other day, I was in the butchers," states Dieter Stoll. "When I turned round, this corpse was grinning at me. It was awful".
