As pandemic continues, paramedics question the impact it has had on their own lives
In the midst of the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic, parademics had to resume their fight to save lives. 'My feeling now is that of starting a marathon and not knowing where the finish line is,' says one young paramedic. While racing to save lives, the risk to their own takes its toll on their mental health. 'Personally, I was really scared,' says one paramedic. '"Am I going to catch the virus? Am I going to die of it?" It all comes to your mind.'
