Italy's One Euro House Dream
Italy now has one of the oldest populations in Europe. A new one-euro house scheme aims to fix the issue by inviting outsiders to bring life to struggling towns. "There were laneways full of people, now there's no one left" says a Palermo resident. But the cheap houses, and the appeal of Sicily is starting to work: "they are amazing. The people, the food, the city," says Krastina from Bulgaria.
