Abu Bakar Ba'asyir denies Bali bombing involvement

Abu Bakar Ba'asir In the wake of the terrorist bombing in Bali on October 12, reporter Evan Williams travelled to Solo in Central Java and spoke to the man many people believe was behind the attack. Abu Bakar Ba'asyr is the leader of Indonesia's most prominent radical Islamic group, Jamaah Islamiah.
Abu Bakar Ba'asyir claims his group has nothing to do with the Bali bombings, and condemns the incident. Despite claiming to have barely heard of al-Qaeda, he warns Australia that siding with the USA in the war on terror would be 'very stupid'.
