Afghan Olympic Runner

Afghan Olympic Runner Six years after the Taliban were overthrown, Afghanistan is starting to evolve. Mehbooba, a 19-year-old female athlete, is the living proof of the changes happening in the country.

Yet she works alongside male team-mates and has even left her family to finish her training in Malaysia. This summer, the world will be watching this exceptional woman.
