Left In Kathmandu

An insight into a once powerful city and the amazing children abandoned there

Left In Kathmandu As the issue of Kathmandu's street children is undermined by political instability, one small orphanage stands as a beacon of hope.

Bishwa Pratap Acharya had a choice, go into business and become a successful Nepali, or fight for the abandoned and orphaned children of Nepal. He chose the latter, full of challenges, emotions and struggles, but far more rewarding. Shot over a period of five months, Left in Kathmandu is an insight into a once powerful city and the amazing children who, with so much working against them, still maintain hope, joy and innocence.
