Peace Another Time

Inside the NGOs battling 30 years of failed Oslo Accords

Peace Another Time 30 years after the signing of the Oslo Accords, there have been hundreds of foreign NGO initiatives trying to foster reconciliation between Israel and Palestine. This report goes inside the optimistic NGOs promoting a Swiss model for peace.
Founded in Geneva in 2016 by a group of peace activists, 'B8 of Hope' now funds around 20 Israel-Palestine NGOs. Welcoming mixed groups of Israeli and Palestinian delegates to peace conferences in Switzerland, they hope to offer "a framework conducive to dialogue," whilst promoting the idea of an Israeli-Palestine confederation based on a Swiss constitutional model. "We have four official languages, 26 states...all together they form Switzerland." One Palestinian delegate agrees, "people could develop their own religion, language, laws and continue to live together."
