DIRECTOR NICCOLO PIAZZA - "With a number of films coming out of the country focusing on madrassas and mosques, 'The Crescent And The Cross' aimed to introduce another side of Pakistan to the world. Filmed in May/June of 2010 for a period of four weeks, it looks at how religiously diverse Pakistan is rapidly becoming a monolith, and in the face of this transition, how Pakistani Christians are striving to keep their national and religious identities alive."
