Out of Sight
For undocumented Zimbabweans living on Johannesburg's streets, life is tough. But for two blind migrants, sharing a room in one of the city's abandoned buildings, the challenges they face are extreme.
Around 1.5 million Zimbabweans live in South Africa. Like Rachel and Elizabeth most are fleeing the poverty of their home country. "Everything was complicated. There was no food, no cash", Rachel explains. "A friend told me it's better we beg in South Africa." But since their arrival they've been victims of xenophobic violence and now, despite being blind, they find themselves under threat of deportation.
