Anybody's Game

South Africa's fake educational courses

Anybody's Game In South Africa there have been a spate seemingly impressive educational courses, that end up being little more than an elaborate scam.
A loophole in South African law means that providers are not committing an offence for teaching unregistered courses. They attract young people who are unable to afford the high-calibre official courses, and are falsely led to believe that the scheme will help them secure a job. However, it is only after the course has ended that they find out that the certificate they receive is worthless.
